The desire to learn soft soldering as a craft stems from my love of decor and the heartbreak that comes from a piece falling and breaking. After multiple pieces were lost to the fall of one large shelf, I was determined to keep the pieces for as long as it took for me to find a use for them. Soft soldering these broken pieces opened a new door for me to explore the use of chipped, broken, and discarded ceramics.
